Tyrese Fears Ex-Wife Will Kidnap Daughter And Flee To Israel
Looks like Tyrese will be battling more than the Transformers…
The 36-year-old actor allegedly filed legal documents pleading a judge to stop his ex-wife from leaving the country with his 7-year-old daughter, Shayla. Tyrese fears that ex-wife Norma, an Israeli citizen, has plans to take their daughter away and stay in the Middle East country after vacation.
Tyrese tried to get Norma to sign a contract promising to bring Shayla back to the United States by a certain date or lose custody if violated; Norma refused to sign.
The trip is planned for March 27.
Although Tyrese and Norma had been together since 2003, the couple was only married for 10 months before their bitter divorce in 2009. Shayla was born on July 11, 2007.
The conflict is now in the hands of a family court mediator.
