The Oscars may be over, but films of 2014 that were overlooked still have a chance to win big at the 2015 MTV Movie Awards. The network revealed its nominees for the big event on Wednesday, March 4.
Selma, which was noticeably snubbed at the Academy Awards, is among this year’s nominations with one nod for Movie of the Year and Breakthrough Performance for David Oyelowo.
Comedians Kevin Hart and Chris Rock will compete against each other for Best Comedic Performance in there roles for The Wedding Ringer and Top Five, respectively.
As for actresses, Zoe Saldana is up for Best On-Screen Transformation for Guardians of the Galaxy. Rosario Dawson earned a nod for Best WTF Moment with Anders Holm for Top Five.
Overall, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Fault in Our Stars and Neighbors lead the pack with seven nominations each, followed by 22 Jump Street and Whiplash, which are both up for five nominations.
Online voting begins today (March 4). Amy Schumer will host the show live on April 12 at 8 p.m. E.T.
