The doctor is in, and he’s celebrating his 50th birthday on the cover of AARP, the Magazine… which stands for the American Association of Retired Persons.

The N.W.A co-founder looked respectable in a suit and tie as he appeared every bit of successful as the businessman who masterminded the multi-billion-dollar sale of Beats Electronics. The $3 billion deal with Apple lead him to the top of Forbes‘ 2014 World’s Highest-Paid Musicians list, which made him the first in hip-hop to close in on the billionaire mark.

Dre, who helped launch the careers of Eminem, Snoop Dogg and Kendrick Lamar, was dubbed “fearless at 50-plus” by AARP. The nonprofit magazine focuses on people 50 years of age and older with issues such as retirement planning and more.

Born Andre Young, the founder of Aftermath Entertainment and Beats Electronics turned 50 on Feb. 18.
