Big Sean’s highly anticipated third solo album Dark Sky Paradise hits stores today! In celebration of the release, the rapper dropped the album’s first video for his single “Dark Sky (Skyscrapers).”
The dimly lit video finds Sean walking alone in the darkest crevices of Detroit as he raps about the lowest points of his life, and how it feels to finally be successful.
“I should have known back then that I wasn’t gon’ stop ‘cuz even then I was infatuated with just sitting at the top. And I don’t owe anybody in the world no favors. I started from the basement made it to the skyscrapers,” he raps.
The visual follows the release of his Drake and Kanye assisted “Blessed” as well as “Win Some, Lose Some” featuring Jhene Aiko.
