Oprah Winfrey looked elegant at the 2015 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (Feb. 22).
The 61-year-old talk show queen wore a champagne-colored floor-length gown designed by Vera Wang that showed just enough cleavage. Her long time love, Stedman Graham, accompanied her on the red carpet in a classic black suit with a matching bow tie.
The media maven attended the ceremony in support of Selma, which was nominated for Best Picture, but lost to Birdman.
Though Selma did not win Best Picture, the film’s theme song “Glory” by Common and John Legend won Best Original Song minutes after giving a powerful performance of the song. The performance left Winfrey emotional and other stars, including David Oyelowo, who starred in the film as Martin Luther King Jr., in tears.
During the ceremony, Winfrey took the stage to present the award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
