SNL Mocks Cosby During ‘Celebrity Jeopardy’

NBC’s Saturday Night Live was most definitely a night to remember with a star-studded evening filled with hilarious segments that showcased the series’ past, present and future in celebration of the the 40th anniversary special.

Veterans Eddie Murphy, Will Ferrell and Jerry Seinfeld joined pop-culture fixtures Kerry Washington, Kanye West, Justin Timberlake and Queen B (played by the exceptionally talented Maya Rudolph doing her stellar Beyoncé impression).

Aside from Jimmy Fallon and Timberlake’s cold open, SNL played a version of its classic Celebrity Jeopardy with a “video daily double” that featured a sketch about Bill Cosby.

Kenan Thompson, who portrayed Cosby, appeared in a question about cocktails that referenced the numerous accusations made by women who claim the actor drugged and sexually assaulted them.

“Oh dear god, no. I’m very sorry,” Ferrell, as Alex Trebek, quickly cut in. “We filmed that in June.”
