Although his relationship with Saturday Night Live has been strained in the past, Kanye West is slated to make an appearance for the show’s 40th anniversary on Feb. 15.
Teasing the three-hour event, the network released a lineup of advertisements on Monday (Feb. 2), which listed an even bigger lineup of celebrities to grace the special edition.
Titled Saturday Night Live: The Exhibition, the show will be a reunion as it invites former stars Eddie Murphy, Kerry Washington, Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Maya Rudolph, Jimmy Fallon and many others to join in on the night’s festivities. Among them will also be musicians Justin Timberlake, Paul McCartney, Paul Simon and Taylor Swift.
Though it’s not clear whether the talents will be performers or participants for the show’s sketches, let’s hope the West-McCartney duo give viewers a performance of “Only One” in real time.
