TGIT: ‘Scandal’ and ‘How to Get Away with Murder’
The wait is finally over!
After an excruciating break that felt like eternity, ABC’s TGIT line-up is scheduled to return this Thursday with all new episodes of both Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder. ABC debuted sneak peeks of the premieres, and from the looks of it, Shonda Rhimes has written an intense episode for both shows.
At 9 p.m., Scandal returns with its winter premiere titled “Run.” When the show left off, Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) had been kidnap just as she came to terms with her chaotic life. In the preview, the moment that Olivia was kidnap and dragged from her apartment is shown. The identity of the kidnapper is not revealed, however, Olivia seems to be terrified as she is seen running for her life in an undisclosed location.
How to Get Away with Murder, the newest addition to the “TGIT” lineup, continues with the episode titled “Hello Raskolnikov,” airing at 10 p.m. On the last episode, Annalise’s (Viola Davis) husband Sam was murdered and it was revealed that she knows much more than her students- other than Wes- think she knows.
