Miguel Releases Surprise Three-Song EP
December seems to be the month of giving in the world of music. Without warning, Miguel treated fans with the unexpected release of a three track EP.
The R&B crooner unloaded the untitled three-song EP to Soundcloud Friday morning (Dec. 19). The tracks included are: “Nwa” (featuring Kurupt), “Hollywood Dreams” and “Coffee”.
All with different sounds, the first track “Nwa” features Miguel giving off a bad boy vibe as he sings about a girl being attracted to the less than ideal guy. Next up, “Hollywood Dreams” has more of a rocker sound and focuses on the temptations of Hollywood. Of the three, “Coffee” seems to be the most similar to Miguel’s signature sound: sensual with a hint of sweet romance.
The artist has been silent most of 2014, but the release of new music could be the first sign that the follow-up to his 2012 breakout album Kaleidoscope Dream is in the works.
