It looks like the Adidas-obsessed Rihanna is going to have to start incorporating Puma into her wardobe because New York Daily News Confidenti@l confirms she is well on her way into inking a seven-figure deal to design sneakers and clothing for the sportswear giant’s “lifestyle” line.
While RiRi hasn’t made an official statement yet, a source says “she is in 100% and wants to do this.” We don’t see why not considering the deal will amount to a little over $1 million!
“It’s not all down to my voice,” she told British Vogue in February. “There’s people with way more talent than I when it comes to singing; bigger voices. But people want to know who you are. Fashion is a clear indication, a way to express your attitude, your mood.”
Known for her fashion sense and as a woman who loves to flaunt her personal flair, Rihanna has worked on underwear and jeans for Armani. She also co-designed a line for British store River Island with with Adam Selman, who created a few of her most dramatic red carpet looks.
Last year, the Barbados beauty even composed two make-up collections for luxury brand MAC, but this deal with Puma will prevent the fashionista from wearing rival brands in or out of upcoming photo shoots.
