Solange Reflects on Her Wedding Day, Explains Hives
Over the weekend,the internet was all about Solange Knowles who married her longtime-boyfriend Alan Ferguson in New Orleans on Sunday, Nov. 16.
The 28-year-old singer took to Instagram to post a few intimate moments from the wedding along with her thoughts about the special day.
“Yesterday, I had the best day of my life and ended it with an abundance of peace, love over flowing through me like never before,” Solange wrote. “Words only understate the feelings I experienced , but I want to thank you for all of your beautiful sentiments. I’m now one, with the one.”
Though the day was absolutely beautiful, she did have one mishap during the day. The bride broke out in hives! But thanks to a dosage of Benadryl, things got right back to normal and more beautiful moments were created.
“Last but not least….:) Shout out to Benadryl yo, lol. NOTHING was gonna stop me from having my mother and son dance with Julez,” she captioned a video clip of her mother dancing with her 10-year-old son. “My baby killed it and will forever remain my favorite dance parter of all time. My heart will forever smile reliving the feeling our lil happy feet together.”
When asked how she got the hives, solange replied, “Got em from turning up x100 during our second line. I was hot,wearing a cape,& happy as hell.”
