The Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation is keeping the rapper’s legacy alive by simultaneously releasing a new single and mixtape in the name of charity.
The promised single will be available for purchase for $.99 on 2pac.com, which will primarily feature several hip-hop stars that worked with Kamil “Muszamil” Beale and Dame Grease to create the project.
All proceeds from the sale of the song will go to help support the upkeep of the foundation’s Tupac Amaru u Shakur Center for the Arts in Stone Mountain, Georgia. It was founded in 1997 by Pac’s mother, Afeni Shakur, with a mission to provide training and support for students seeking to enhance their creative talents.
Artists and producers interested in participating can contact Muszamil on Twitter @OutlawMuszamil and Vacant Lot A&R Jason Mantez on Twitter @mantez.
