What’s being considered the first comprehensive biography of pop diva Beyoncé Knowles is to hit bookstores in the fall of 2015, publisher Grand Central Books announced.
Like many of her contemporaries in the entertainment industry, Beyoncé is a brand. With her many facets ranging from singer, dancer, entertainer, designer, philanthropist, wife and mother, consumers are still intrigued to know the person behind the presentation.
The untitled book will explore Bey’s life beginning with her childhood performances before exploring her time with Destiny’s Child to her solo career and marriage to Jay Z.
Author J. Randy Taraborrelli will be writing the unauthorized biography after working with mega-celebrity subjects including Diana Ross, Frank Sinatra, Madonna and Michael Jackson over the last three decades. However, the key word in this soundbite is “unauthorized,” meaning Beyoncé herself will not participating in the creation of the project.
The content will comprised of interviews with secondary sources and should be taken with a grain of skepticism as it will not be signed off by Queen B herself.
Hmm… or maybe the unauthorized biography will tell us more about Beyoncé than an authorized one ever could. What do you think? Tell us your thoughts below.
