Rapper DMX Saves Ex-Wife’s Home From Foreclosure

DMX may have a criminal history, but the man has proven time-and-time-again that he is willing to help those close to him.

According to court documents, the rapper shelled out more than a quarter million dollars to save his ex-wife’s home from foreclosure. The home located in Mount Kisco, NY also houses the four children he shares with Tashera Simmons. The mortgage on the New York home went unpaid for nearly four years since being purchased for the original price of $649K in 2000. This was prior to DMX’s prison sentence.

Compass Bank filed a foreclosure lawsuit against the rapper in May 2012 for nonpayment, but failed to pursue the issue, granting DMX the opportunity to pay the outstanding mortgage amount and save his home from being auctioned.

DMX may be a lot of things, but he doesn’t seem like a bad hubby. What do you think? Tells us below.
