Beyoncé Shares Behind-the-Scenes Video for 2014 MTV VMAs

Welcome to Beyoncé’s world!

Just a few weeks ago, Queen Bey put on an unrivaled, flawless performance at the MTV Video Music Awards before accepting the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, and now we get a behind-the-scenes peak at what it took to make the performance come together.

The four-minute clip uploaded to Beyoncé’s YouTube page begins with a prayer from the superstar before she and her dancers take the stage.

“Lord God, thank you so much for this opportunity tonight and I ask that we can exchange energy and be one,” she says. “God, we can imagine being little kids dreaming of this night and we are here. Fill us up with your love. Amen.”

The clip goes on to show problems with the stage set ups, choreography changes and even assistants rushing to paint dancers after Beyoncé decided she wanted them painted an hour before show time. Despite the seemingly stressful moments, the performance came together beautifully in the end.

Perhaps one of the best moments of the clip is an appearance by Blue Ivy, who tells her mom, “Everybody said ‘Good job!'”

She’s so cute!
