‘Orange Is The New Black’ Cast Invades ‘Conan’
On Monday night (Aug. 4), Conan O’Brien switched things up with an Orange Is the New Black themed episode, which included a remixed opening song and hilarious moments from your favorite cast members from the show.
Taylor Schilling, Uzo Aduba, Natasha Lyonne, Laverne Cox, Kate Mulgrew, Jason Biggs and Lea Delaria all visited the TBS show to discuss their time on set, individual roles and take part in a few sketches.
The show opens with Cox playing her role as the fan favorite Sophia. When Conan’s hair stylist can’t make it to set, Sophia steps in to take over and offers advice to the carrot top host about what has been his signature look for over 20 years.
“You need to understand that you are turning off a huge segment of the demographic that you could be reaching,” she says before explaining, “People are afraid of clowns ok? I’m scared just looking at you.”
More laughs ensue when Aduba sits down with the host and gives instructions on how to make crazy eyes just like her character.
