Ne-Yo Sues Ex-Manager Kevin Foster For $8 Million

Ne-Yo may have ended his business relationship with ex-manager Kevin Foster, but the “So Sick” singer has one last request – bring him his money.

According to Daily News, Ne-Yo is suing his “manager, confidante, trusted advisor and friend” for $8 million after allegedly faking Ne-Yo’s name on loan documents. Foster reportedly invested NeYo’s money in a water company that was teetering on the edge of bankruptcy.

Foster began handling all of NeYo’s (real name: Shaffer Smith) finances in 2005, where he let the accounting company he was working for at the time “handle all of Smith’s business management and accounting needs.”

The lawsuit filed in Manhattan has the singer seeking $4.5 million, plus $3.5 million in fees paid to Foster over the years.

Foster could not be reached for comment. The phone number for his firm was out of service.
