Steve Pink returns to direct the sequel for Hot Tub Time Machine, where a modern quartet of dudes first discovered time travel in 2010.
Although there is no John Cusack this time around, Parks and Recreation‘s Adam Scott seems to have taken his place for the adventure. The sequel picks up with Robinson and Duke having grown rich and successful after altering their fates in the original Hot Tub installment. However, when things don’t go according to plan, they find themselves accidentally traveling to year 2024.
Ten years into the future, Scott, Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson and Clark Duke must fix the timeline and avert disaster by altering the future so they can preserve the past – which is really the present. Get it?
Don’t worry, it’ll make sense when you see it…
Paramount’s Hot Tub Time Machine 2 will premiere in theaters on Christmas Day.
