Former member of Destiny’s Child Farrah Franklin was arrested Sunday morning for disorderly conduct in Myrtle Beach, according to authorities.

Franklin was arrested early Sunday morning around 5 a.m. and released shortly after noon the same day, according to the Horry County Sheriff’s Office.

According to TMZ, NFL player Da’ Quan Bowers flew Franklin out to Myrtle Beach to spend time with him. The pair and fellow NFL player, Ricky Sapp, went out for drinks day and night on Saturday.

After drinking all day, the group returned to Sapp’s home and both men say Franklin was highly intoxicated. Bowers said he believed she had done drugs because she would disappear to the bathroom for extended periods of time. Both men say she began “yelling, slamming doors and refused to stop when asked.”

Unable to calm Franklin down, Bowers and Sapp called the police and she fled. Cops searched the neighborhood and eventually found Franklin laying down in a neighbor’s yard.

Police described Franklin as “highly intoxicated” and “unsteady on her feet,” but say she denied using drugs. She told police “she had nowhere to go and planned on sleeping in the woods,” according to TMZ.

Franklin was released from jail after posting $280 bond.

Franklin and Michelle Williams joined Destiny’s Child to replace original members, LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson, in 2000. She was with the group for five months before exiting.
