Leave it up to Kanye West to do everything in style… even his community service.
West was sentenced to 250 hours of community service after assaulting a paparazzo last July, but completing those hours will not include picking up trash on the side of the road for Yeezus.
The rapper has opted for a less “dirty” way of knocking out those community service hours by teaching at a fashion school.
On June 23 he dropped by the Los Angeles Trade Technical College and spoke about working in the fashion industry.
Acoording to TMZ, yesterday’s visit was West’s third time speaking at the college in the past six weeks. He reportedly participated in a three-hour lecture at the public community college located in downtown Los Angeles.
In March, the “Mercy” rapper plead no contest to one count of battery in a response to the 2013 lawsuit filed against him by paparazzo Daniel Ramos. In exchange for the plea, West must complete 250 hours of community service, attend 24 anger management sessions and pay restitution to the victim. In order to have the conviction expunged from his record, the rapper must also stay out of trouble for the next two years.
It is unclear how many hours of community service West has completed, but his attorney is expected to report to court to provide proof and details of his probation on July 17 at the next court hearing.
Meanwhile, the rapper will continue with his community service at multiple colleges.
