Robin Thicke has been very open about his desire to win back his estranged wife Paula Patton, and things just got a little more personal- possibly too personal- as he provides clues to their breakup in his newest visual for his latest single “Get Her Back.”
The video features Thicke pouring out his heart to a dark-haired beauty who bears a resemblance to Patton, of course.
As the video plays, text messages appear on-screen showing the dialogue between two lovers. They include “I’m sorry,” “You embarrassed me,” “I can’t make love to you anymore.” “I hate myself,” “You ruined everything,” “How could you do that to me?” and “I wrote a whole album about you.”
It’s an easy assumption that the dialogue is suppose to be between Thicke and Patton, but it is unclear whether those are the actual text messages exchanged between the two.
Thicke debuted “Get Her Back” in May at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards and the song appears on his upcoming album titled Paula.
