Steve Harvey, Ellen DeGeneres Among Winners For “The Daytime Emmys” 2014

For the first time in decades, “The Daytime Emmys” did not have a broadcast or cable partner, but instead streamed the entire award ceremony live from the Beverly Hill Hotel via the Internet.

Steve Harvey and Ellen DeGeneres were among the 41st annual Daytime Emmy winners to be recognized for their popular television shows on Sunday, June 22.

“The Steve Harvey Show” was honored among “The Chew,” “The Dr. Oz Show,” and “Dr. Phil” for being an outstanding informative talk show. Harvey was also recognized for being an Outstanding Game Host for his trivia show “Family Feud.”

DeGeneres received her eighth trophy for “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” for being an outstanding entertainment talk show, beating out over “Rachel Ray,” “Live! With Kelly and Michael,” “The Talk” and “The View.”

ABC’s “Good Morning America” received an Emmy for being the best morning program on television, while CBS’ “The Young and the Restless took home six awards for the night, including honors for best drama series and best lead actor for leading star Billy Miller.

Comedian Kathy Griffin hosted Sunday’s ceremony, with Billy Bush and Mario Lopez among the presenters.
