Will Smith, Jada Pinkett-Smith Off The Hook With Child Protective Services

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith have officially been cleared by Child Protective Services following an investigation of a controversial photo that surfaced online with their 13-year-old daughter, Willow.

The image showed Willow lying in bed, fully dressed, with 20-year-old former “Hannah Montana” star, Moises Arias. Some viewers deemed the photo disturbing, considering the situation depicted as too intimate for a young teen.

However, the officials at the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services did not find evidence that Willow was ever in any danger. The two were just friends hanging out, but the rush to report headlines reading “Willow & Moises Arias Caught In Bed Together” was evidently irresistible.

Neither Will nor Jada have made comments regarding the DCFS investigation, but the 42-year-old actress defended the photo’s innocence when it initially sparked attention off Arias’ Instagram account.

“Here’s the deal: There was nothing sexual about that picture or that situation,” Jada told TMZ cameramen regarding the photo. “You guys are projecting your trash onto it and you’re acting like covert pedophiles, and that’s not cool.”

Arias has since deleted the picture, but it remains posted on his Tumblr account.
