Cuba Gooding Jr.’s Wife Files For Separation After 20 Years
Cuba Gooding Jr. and his wife and high school sweetheart, Sara Kapfer, have legally separated after 20 years of marriage.
Sara filed for a separation in L.A. County Superior Court on April 22, citing irreconcilable differences.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, the actor’s now estranged wife wants legal and physical custody of their children, Spencer, Mason and Piper, and child support will be determined at a later date.
Sadly, just last year the “As Good As It Gets” star gushed about being in live with his wife during an interview with “The View.”
“I got a wonderful lady that knows how to run the household even when I’m not there. [And] we’re just blessed with wonderful kids,” he said.
The couple began dating in high school and later tied the knot in 1994.
