New Music Video: Alicia Keys in ‘It’s On Again’ ft. Kendrick Lamar
Alicia Keys’ The Amazing Spider-Man 2 track “It’s On Again” was released last month and now she’s followed up with a music video that features herself, Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell Williams and Hans Zimmer along with scenes from the film and images of the New York City skyline.
The superhero anthem starts with a verse from Kendrick Lamar before Alicia Keys takes over the lead vocals singing, “There’s no day off for heroes and even when I’m tired, ‘go’ is the only word I know.”
“I’m very excited to be a part of such a powerful collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell Williams and Hans Zimmer,” Keys said in a release. “This is the next chapter in the ‘Spider-Man’ legacy and we really feel ‘It’s On Again’ captures the experience, the story — and most importantly — the meaning behind the film, which is that we all have the potential to be extraordinary. There’s a little bit of a super hero in all of us.”
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will hit theaters on May 2nd. “It’s On Again” will appear on the soundtrack set for release on April 22nd.
