Future Talks Ciara, Beyonce and New Album with Wendy Williams

Future has a very busy schedule these days. He’s promoting his album Honest, getting ready for the arrival of a baby boy and planning a wedding, but the Atlanta rapper made time on Monday to stop by The Wendy Williams Show to chat.

During the interview, Future gave details on the progress of his and Ciara’s wedding plans and why he decided to put a ring on it.

“The wedding plans are going great. I’ma let her handle the wedding. I’m doing my album,” he revealed. “The album comes out April 22nd. So she’s coordinating that. She’s coordinating it very well. She’s doing a great job at that. I’m just approving of everything.”

After showing off his engagement tattoo- a “C” for Ciara-, he gushed about his wife-to-be and why he proposed.

“For me, I believe it just gave me balance. It’s giving me balance,” he said. “With a busy career, you’re doing so much, you just focus more on your career. You don’t have to keep chasing girls, chasing different women.”

Earlier this month the Atlanta-native performed an unreleased single called “Good Morning” at SXSW, which sounded eerily close to Beyoncé’s popular single “Drunk In Love.” Since, speculations have circled about who the song originally belonged to and Future addressed the rumors to clear up the confusion.

“I demoed the song with the producer. I demoed it first for her to listen to. I guess she had done the record and she was saving the record,” Future explained. “I had did another version, ‘Good Morning,’ because we didn’t know when she was going to put the album out. Then she put it out [in] December, after I was supposed to put my album out in November, it just pushed my song to the side.”

At the end, Future performed his two singles “Honest” and “Move That Dope” from his upcoming album. Honest hits stores on April 22.
