RHOA’s NeNe Leakes Hospitalized And “Thankful To Be Alive”
Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes says she is “thankful to be alive” following hospitalization from a health scare.
Late last week the reality television star says she “wasn’t feeling well and was a little short of breath” so she knew she needed to go to the doctor.
On Monday Nov. 18 the reality television star shared a photo of herself in a hospital gown with multiple IV’s attached to both arms. After routine tests, it was discovered that she had blood clots in her lung.
“I’m told this happened to me because of the constant traveling around the country that I do for my job,” says NeNe on her official website.
She also cleared the rumor that she had a heart attack.
In June, NeNe remarried her husband Gregg Leakes. I Dream of Nene, her spin-off show, premiered in September to follow the days leading up to her renewed nuptials.
NeNe is currently recovering at home with her family.
