Watch: Madea Is Back For “Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas”
Tyler Perry is hoping to join the ranks of Holiday classics like “It’s A Wonderful Life” with his newest film, “Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas.”
The two minute clip, which debuted earlier this week, shows Perry as his beloved alter ego taking over the duties of a department store Santa in true Madea fashion. From there, laughter and a bit of tough love round out the story as Madea tags along with her friend Eileen, played by Anna Maria Horsford, on a trip to visit her daughter Lacey and her new guy on their farm.
For the film, hitting theaters December 16, Perry drafted ”Blue Collar” comic Larry The Cable Guy to star as the father of Lacey’s love interest.
