Rihanna Granted Long Term Restraining Order Against Stalker

A judge granted singer Rihanna permanent protection from a stalker who is accused of causing her “substantial emotional distress and concerns for her safety.” Jonathan Whooper, who allegedly claimed to be the singer’s “future husband” is ordered to stay 100 yards away from the pop star for the next two years.

In October, the stalker was arrested for multiple trespasses at RiRi’s Pacific Palisides home. He was also identified as the same man who broke into the Diamonds singer home in late September by throwing a chair through the window.

Whooper is scheduled to appear in a court hearing for a mental competency hearing to determine if he is fit to stand trial for attempted burglary, vandalism and stalking.

The stalker is only one of multiple people that caused the singer to fear her safety at her$12 million California estate. In May 31-year-old Steveland Barrow was arrested for breaking into the home of a neighboring residence and sleeping in the bed that he thought was Rihanna’s.

Rihanna is currently on a the Diamonds World Tour. The tour began on March 8 0f this year and has a total of 96 shows.
