R&B songbird Jhene Aiko is joining Drake on his massive, 40-stop “Would You Like A Tour?” North American tour. The tour began Friday night in Pittsburgh and continues tonight in Montreal, Quebec at the Bell Centre. The concert also features Ciara’s beau Future and “Adorn” singer Miguel.
While on tour, Jhene Aiko will release her debut EP “SAIL OUT,” November 12th on. The 7-track EP includes Jhene’s single “Bed Peace” featuring Childish Gambino, plus her critically acclaimed debut track of 2012, “3:16am.” Other collaborators on “SAIL OUT” include Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, and Vince Staples of Cutthroat Boyz.
Despite her age, 25-year old Los Angeles native Jhene Aiko is a true music industry stalwart, having amassed over a decade’s worth of features on singles, albums and mixtapes by A-listers such as Kendrick Lamar, Wale, Big Sean, Logic, J. Cole, Drake, and others. Jhene was signed to Def Jam by No I.D., known for his studio work with giants Kanye West, Big Sean, Rick Ross, Method Man, Nas, and more. Most recently, Jhene was featured on Big Sean’s single “Beware,” and is also featured on Drake’s “From Time,” off his latest album, “Nothing Was The Same.”
