AOL Is On a ‘Live Anchor Quest’ for New Talent

AOL, previously known as America Online, is currently on the hunt for new talent. The company is holding auditions for a news anchor for “AOL Live.”

The videos of the auditions may remind you of “American Idol” auditions.

Several tech blogs are reporting that the auditions are open, so anyone can try out to be an anchor of AOL Live, a morning news show.

One guy sang his audition. Another didn’t know who Nelson Mandela is. When playing the word association game, one guy associated “Princess Diana” with “hot”. All of them deserve a gold star and are totally worth wasting your day watching.

If that’s not enough, there’s a puppy cam during the breaks.

You can watch the live auditions here.
