Lebron James Answers Critics With Game 7 Win: “I Ain’t Got No Worries”

The Miami Heat won their second consecutive NBA championship after defeating the San Antonio Spurs 95-88 to win Game 7 of the 2013 NBA Finals at American Airlines Arena on June 20, 2013 in Miami, Florida.

A post game reporter asked James the following: “Lebron, you are constantly faced with the dim of noise from the outside…scrutiny and pressure…how when everyone is coming at you do you keep your head and perform at the level you do?

Lebron shrugged off the negativity with the following response: “Listen….for me I can’t worry about what everybody say(s) about me…I’m Lebron James…from Akron Ohio….from the inner city…I’m not even supposed to be here. That’s enough (for me)…every night I walk into the locker room..I see a number 6 with ‘James’ on the back. Im blessed! So what everybody say(s) about me off the court…don’t matter..I ain’t go no worries”

Lebron probably invoked the phrase “I ain’t go no worries” from the popular hip hop song of the same name by rap superstar Lil Wayne. The rapper and Lebron James are actually friends despite well publicized angst that Wayne had with the team and rumors of being barred from Heat games. In an interview on radio station 99 Jamz, the rapper had the following to say about a recent tirade that he leveled on the Heat and its players during a music appearance…. “The only thing I do want to take back from saying that night is I said, ‘F LeBron,’ I didn’t mean to say that because me and LeBron are cool and I know his mom and we have a real good relationship. That’s my homie”.

Congratulations to the Miami Heat!
