Kim Kardashian Gives Birth To First Child
Popular gossip website TMZ is reporting that Kim Kardashian has given birth to a baby girl. TMZ was also informed that the birth was a NATURAL CHILD BIRTH although some outlets are reporting that Kim had an emergency c-section. Kardashian started having contractions Friday night and went into full labor early Saturday AM.
Kim and baby are reportedly both in good health. The baby delivered pre-term around 5 weeks early in the wee hours of the morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Sources also report to TMZ that Kanye West was there for the entire birth in the delivery room by Kim’s side. Kanye West cancelled his appearance at his own record release party last night when Kim told him she was feeling “a little off.”
The birth does not come without great concern from Kim in connection with her public on-camea lifestyle and the peace that she wants to enjoy with her new baby. Earlier this month she tweeted the following in regards to paparazzi activity:
“For years I’ve always been so gracious. Every shot they take now just isn’t flattering & crazy stories get made up, so why would I willingly just let them stalk me & smile for them? Let me enjoy this last month of pregnancy please without threats & being scared to leave my home due to what dangerous thing they just threatened to do to me … I get I live a public life. I live my life on a reality show for the world to see. I love my life, but when the cameras stop, that doesn’t mean I don’t want a break too. I’m 32 yrs old now, about to be a mom. I’m not 25 clubbing around LA anymore. There’s no excuse for threats & stalking!” she added. Other stars such as Halle Berry have had very public vocal wars with over aggressive paparazzi trying to snap pictures of her child at every given turn. Berry even wanted to leave the country at one time for the sake of her child. It’s only natural for Kim as a mom to feel more guarded about pictures after the birth of her baby (and we can’t blame her).
It is the first child for both Kim and Kanye.
