Conrad Murray, the doctor responsible for the death of Michael Jackson, has reached out to the daughter of the late King of Pop after her failed suicide attempt.
In a desperate plea to Paris Jackson, Murray, 60, offers his help for the despondent teenager through a recorded message — obtained by TMZ.
“I don’t know what you’re going through, but I’m sure whatever it is it must be difficult,” Murray said.
Jackson, 15, stunned the world on Wednesday after reports surfaced that she had been taken to a Los Angeles hospital after a suicide attempt — by cutting her wrists, and possibly taking an excessive amount of pain medication.
“I don’t know if there’s anything I can do to solve your pain or help you with your problem but I wanted you to know that I am here for you. I have never been gone.”
Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in 2011, when a jury held him accountable for providing Michael Jackson with the drugs that eventually killed the pop star in 2009.
Paris Jackson’s dramatic attempt comes as the Jackson family is in the middle of suing AEG Live, claiming the company negligently hired Murray to be Michael Jackson’s doctor during his “This Is It” tour.
AEG has denied any wrongdoing, saying it was the “Thriller” singer who struck a deal with the Las Vegas cardiologist.
