Mike Epps to Play Richard Pryor in Upcoming Biopic
Zoe Saldana and Mike Epps have some big shoes to fill as they gear up to portray two icons in upcoming biopic, “Nina.”
Saldana will be playing the legendary singer Nina Simone and Epps will be taking on the role of legendary comedian, Richard Pryor. According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Nina” is set to start shooting in Los Angeles this week. This will be the directorial debut of Cynthia Mort, who also wrote the screenplay.
Nina is set to hit the big screen in 2013.
