Michael Jackson Immortalized at Grauman’s Chinese Theater
Hollywood celebrities have been leaving their handprints and footprints in wet cement in front of Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Los Angeles for decades. On Thursday at dawn, Michael Jackson’s children stamped a pair of the late singer’s shoes and one of his sequined gloves into a wet slab on Hollywood Boulevard to honor him, according to Agence France-Presse.
Justin Bieber, Smokey Robinson and the music producer Quincy Jones joined the Jackson children, Paris, Prince and Blanket, as well as Jackson’s mother and brothers, Tito, Marlon and Jackie, at the event. The children also pressed their own handprints into the cement. The block will ultimately be placed in the Grauman Theater’s courtyard.
