‘Googling’ helps history buff Mike Tyson

Former heavyweight boxing champ Mike Tyson has hung up his gloves. Now he urges people to use their thumbs and fingers. His Mike Tyson: Main Event is one of Apple’s hottest iPhone games. He’s also a popular personality on Twitter, with over 1 million followers.

We recently caught up with Tyson in Los Angeles while he was shooting personalized digital greetings for Stargreetz. The company, busy on Facebook, serves up birthday greetings, ring tones and phone messages from stars to people. Tyson talked about tech with us, including his popular tweets, heavy use of Google to research history topics and what’s on his iPod.

Well-known Tysonisms like “you can’t make a lie and a truth go together” and “any time you’re on the other side of the dirt, you’re blessed” dominate his Tweets, along with promotion for the video game and personal appearances.
