Cardi B explains NYC apartment argument: “I was standing up for them”
Cardi B has addressed a recent altercation with a resident of a New York apartment building, clarifying the situation. The incident, which was captured on video and shared by the New York Post, showed Cardi B shouting at the resident and threatening to “f### you up for real.”
Following the release of the video, Cardi B took to Twitter to share her side of the story. She explained that she was actually defending a group of people from the resident’s harassment. In a video she posted, Cardi B can be seen confronting the resident from her car, questioning why she was bothering the group.
The argument reportedly started when the resident asked the group to leave the apartment driveway. Cardi B accused the resident of bullying the group for taking photographs and expressed her disapproval of the resident’s behavior.
This incident comes shortly after Cardi B filed for divorce from her husband, Offset, of nearly seven years. She also confirmed that she is pregnant with their third child. Cardi B emphasized that she was simply standing up for others and did not appreciate the resident’s aggressive behavior towards the group.
