Ludacris, T.I. to give $10,000 to Atlanta flood victims
October 13, 2009
Rappers Ludacris and T.I. each are donating $10,000 to help Atlanta flood victims, but how that money will be given out hasn’t been decided, a spokesman for The Ludacris Foundation said Wednesday.
An earlier report from TMZ said Ludacris had planned to partner with Home Depot and Sam’s Club and put together a food bank as part of the efforts. The foundation spokesman said the artist is still exploring options at this point.
“As you know, he loves Atlanta and is very concerned and interested,” a foundation spokesman said. “He’s had a conversation with a couple of people, his colleagues, we’re not going to name names anymore. They are looking at how to pool their resources.”
The challenge at this point is to partner with groups or agencies that can help figure out where the money should go, the foundation spokesman said.
