Common and Nick cannon hit France

Rappers turned actors, Common and Nick Cannon attended the Intergration vs. Brand Interruption event in Cannes, France. The event hosted by Digitas at the Cannes Advertising Festival connected the actors with some of the nation’s leading movers and shakers in advertising.

Halle Berry and Trey Songz Attend 13th Annual EIF Revlon Walk For Women

Trey Songz and Halle Berry participated in the 13th Annual EIF Revlon Run/Walk for Women in New York City. Minus the eye make-up and powder foundation, Halle Berry helped raise money to fight women’s cancer.

According to the American Cancer Society, this year about 15,000 women will die of ovarian cancer and approximately 40,000 women will die from breast cancer in the United States.

TV host and entrepreneur B. Smith emceed the first-ever Bounty Soul Food Cook-Off at the 2010 Allstate Gospel Superfest on Saturday, January 9. Procter and Gamble’s Bounty brand sponsored the cooking competition at the Gospel event, which was hosted by Vivica A. Fox and Flex Alexander at the Cintas Center on the campus of Xavier University and featured more than 30 national acts for one night of celebration through song and praise.

Three of America’s top gospel choirs, the Professor Wilbur Belton & LADWEC Choir of Forestville, MD, Bishop Hezekiah Walker & the Love Fellowship of New York City and the Ricky Dillard and New Generation Chorale of Chicago, participated in the cook-off that was created by Bounty to encourage parents to allow their children to be more hands on in the kitchen. Each group prepared their individual kid-friendly dish, allowing attendees and fellow participants to taste and vote on their favorite recipe. Bounty host, B. Smith, announced the winning recipe, Pineapple Delight submitted by Professor Wilbur Belton & LADWEC Choir.

“Bounty allows children to explore their creativity and learn by doing in a fun, hands-on way,” said Eric Higgs, brand manager, Bounty. “Whether you are showing them the secret ingredient to a favorite family meal or teaching them the winning recipe from this year’s Gospel Superfest Soul Food Cook Off, after all the fun, Bounty will be there to handle the clean up.”

Guests walked away with a special recipe booklet featuring each of the dishes, courtesy of Bounty. Additional P&G brands sponsoring the event included Mr. Clean, Swiffer, Gain and Charmin.
