Shortly after posting a cryptic photo on Instagram that mirrored his 2013 album Yeezus, Mr. West announced that his forthcoming album “Yandhi” will drop at the end of the month.
On Monday (Sept. 17), the “All Mine” rapper first started the frenzy after posting several captionless photos on his social media. First, Ye announced the lineup for the September 29th episode of Saturday Night Live which shows “Yandhi” as a performer. Not long after, Kanye shared a shared a photo that looked seemingly like a new version of his 2013 album – which sparked theories from fans.

In another photo of the album artwork, West revealed the projects release date to be September 29th. “Yahndi” will be the 9th solo-album from the Chicago rapper and his second solo-album of 2018, following the release of ye – which was released in June.

This year has been filled with music from Kanye. Along with Yandhi, West announced that he will be teaming up with Chance the Rapper for a collaborative album “Good Ass Job.” On Monday night, Kanye surprised a group of students at Chance’s open mic night – where he confirmed the upcoming project.
“Me and Chance working on a new album,” he said to the students. “It’s called Good Ass Job. Now I love you guys very much, we need to go to the studio.”
