J. Cole Launches Dreamville Festival in North Carolina

Following the release of his hit album “KOD”, J.Cole announced that he and his team are launching Dreamville Festival in North Carolina!

On Friday (April 27), the Fayetteville native’s Dreamville Records and Austin-based concert promotion company ScoreMore Shows announced that the inaugural Dreamville Festival will take place in Raleigh, N.C. on September 15th at Dorothea Dix Park. While making the announcement, Ibrahaim “Ib” Hamad – president of Dreamville and Cole’s manager – revealed the festival has been a passion project and was able to connect with the city in the process.

“We’ve been trying to put this festival together for a few years now,” Ibrahim “Ib” Hamad, President of Dreamville Records and manager of J. Cole said to AP. “It’s just hard to come into a city and get the whole city to approve it and (get) behind you. So it was great that we took our time … and really connected with the city (and) connected with the mayor.”

Tickets for Dreamville Festival are now on sale on the official website. Tickets range from $79 for general admission to $399 for MVP (VIP) tickets. As for now, headliners for Dreamville Festival have not been announced. However, Hamad says fans can expect a variety of Dreamville artist, local performers and contemporary stars. “It’s going to be a variety of different acts that we love or excite us,” he said. “It’s something we want to build for years and years to come.”
