Willow Smith and Jaden Smith Featured on TIME’s 30 Most Influential Teens List

From music to acting to modeling and more, it seems like whatever Willow and Jaden put their mind to, they win! Well, it’s no surprise that the Smith siblings are now being recognized for their hard work and their unique influence on today’s generation by topping TIME‘s 30 Most Influential Teens of 2017.

To determine who will be featured on the annual list, TIME considers accolades across a variety of fields, global impact through social media and their ability to drive news. In the past, the magazine recognized young Hollywood’s finest including Skai Jackson, Sasha and Malia Obama, Olympian Laurie Hernandez, Luka Sabbat, Kidtrepreneur Moziah Bridges, and Zendaya. Along with Jaden and Willow, other notables that are featured on this year’s list include creator of Me and Bees Lemonade, Mikaila Ulmer, Yara Shahidi, Olympian Sydney McLaughlin, Khalid, and popular beauty influencer Bretman Rock.

As mentioned, the Smith siblings have been putting in work and doing a good job at it! Recently, Jaden Smith announced the release date for his debut album SYRE: A Beautiful Confusion after years of releasing random singles and visuals. Along with the new music, Smith also dipped into the anime world this year with the release of the Netflix series Neo Yokio. Described as a tribute to classic anime, the series features a star studded cast set in “the greatest city in the world,” describes as “a diverse labyrinth of cultural and architectural innovation.”

As for Willow, the young starlet recently released her sophomore album, The 1st. The project features 11 tracks crafted by Willow and showcases her talents as not only a singer but as a songwriter as well. Along with music, Willow has found success in the fashion world, as she was named a brand ambassador for Chanel. As an ambassador, Smith brings her unique and youthful ideas to the iconic brand.
