In an interview with MONTREALITY, the South Bronx native revealed that the two have a project that will be dropping soon. “Me and Rocky got a project,” he said. “[We’ll] be coming out with it real soon.”

According to XXL, the rapper first teased the project in August during an interview with the Hip-Hop magazine –Montana also talked about the relationship he had with Rocky.

“Me and A$AP [Rocky] like brothers, you know, we grew up from close to each other,” he said to XXL. “He was from Harlem, I was from the Bronx. I was around the same street where his older brother used to be at, so that’s kinda dope. Shout out to them, R.I.P. Yams, shout out the whole team.”

Along with the exciting about the forthcoming project, Montana later delved into his relationship with J.Cole – saying the “Déjà vu” rapper almost produced his first album, Excuse My French, back in 2013.

“He almost executive produced my first album after I played him the music,” he said. “think Cole is one of the dopest artists that came out. I just remember when we were in the Club Paradise Tour with Drake and I was working on my first album, and we had “Pop That” and everything. I was playing him my album and he just called me one day like, “Yo French, I would love to help you with the album. Let me executive produce it.’ He’s a producer and He’s one of the best out of our generation. The time just wasn’t right, he was moving I was moving, things like that need time.”
