50 Cent Ends Partnership with EFFEN Vodka

50 Cent and Effen Vodka have reportedly ended their partnership. The rapper turned businessman, who dropped the #EFFEN hashtag in every social media post since the partnership was first announced, has reportedly officially severed ties with the liquor company.

According to Power 105.1’s daily “Rumor Report” on the Breakfast Club, 50 did not only sell his minority stake in the company but also ended his contract as a lead spokesman. The Queens native, and the executive producer behind Showtime’s hit show Power, reportedly received a $60 million buyout from the company he’s been partnered with since 2014. During the report, DJ Envy stated that the deal with the Holland-based company took place a month ago.

In the wake of the news, the “Many Men” rapper took to Instagram to share photos of the vodka’s cameo in the latest episode of Power – 50 also shared a few words about the reported deal. “I got the bag,” 50 wrote. “EFFEN Vodka can you say 60M’s… since they like counting my money DO THE MATH lol.”

Not too long ago, 50 Cent put fans in a frenzy when he appeared on Access Hollywood Live to confirm the arrival of his long-awaited album. According to the Queens emcee, the highly anticipated Street King Immortal may finally drop at the end of 2017. “It’s coming out at the end of the year,” 50 said. “It won’t be as smart as the JAY-Z record. I want to make music that people can have fun to, so you don’t have to stop. You get it immediately without having to sit and analyze it.”
