Kodak Black’s “No Flockin” and “Tunnel Vision” Goes Platinum

After his release from jail, Kodak Black is definitely winning after being awarded two platinum plaques for his singles “No Flockin” and “Tunnel Vision.”

According to Billboard, RIAA reports the 20-year-old rapper’s single “Tunnel Vision” went platinum June 7, while his 2014 single “No Flockin” received its certification June 9. Produced by VinnyxProd, “No Flockin” has accumulated over 130 million views on YouTube and debuted at no.95 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in January 2017. Not far behind is “Tunnel Vision,” produced by Metro Boomin, Southside and CuBeatz, debuted at no.27 before moving up to no.6 making the track his first top 10 hit. Like Black’s previous track, “Tunnel Vision” has accrued over 101 million views on the video-sharing site. Although Kodak Black’s single “Lockjaw” featuring French Montana went platinum in early 2017, this will be his first two solo-platinum certifications the artist has received.

Earlier this month, the Florida native was released from jail after serving four months of a 364-day sentence for violating the terms of his house arrest. It’s apparent that one year of house arrest is not going to stop Black from churning out more music – it has been reported that the day of his release, Kodak Black went straight to the studio and recorded “First Day Out” produced by Dyryk. Kodak teased fans on Instagram after posting a video of him rapping a few lyrics to the song’s instrumental.

“#FirstDayOut #StayTuned#VideoComingSoon #OffDaTop #Israel@dyryk In Da Cut #SG,” he wrote.

Despite being in jail, Kodak also found great success with his debut album Painting Pictures – Hitting no.3 on the Billboard Top 200 and selling 71,000 the first week of its March 2017 release.

It looks like Kodak keeping that tunnel vision is paying off!
