Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka’oir Score Wedding Special on BET

Mark your calendars people – the Wopsters will be hitting small screens with a new reality show!

On Monday (June 5), hip hop’s power couple announced that the series, slated to air on BET, will capture the moments leading up to their very icy wedding that will take place October 17, 2017. The untitled series will follow Guwop and his fiancé, Keyshia Ka’oir, as they try to blend their families and prepare for their extravagant wedding. The series will also offer a look into Gucci Mane’s music and the couple’s individual businesses – Billboard reports.

Ka’oir, owner of Ka’oir Fitness and Ka’oir Cosmetics, shared the exciting news on Instagram, writing, “The WOPSTERS are officially apart of the @BET family!!! Our wedding Special will be EPIC! #1017 10/17/17 #TheWopsters”

Gucci Mane also shared the news about the series on his Instagram, writing, “Y’all ready for our wedding on @BET tho 10/17/17”

After Ka’oir met Guwop while appearing in his “911 Emergency” music video, the two began a romantic relationship that would span throughout the rapper’s incarceration. Fast forward to November 2016, the Atlanta rapper presented his longtime girlfriend with a massive ring during an Atlanta Hawks game – and of course, she said yes.

As reported by TMZ, the couple also earned big bucks for landing the eight-episode reality show. Sources told the celebrity news site that the Wopsters landed a whopping $650,000 contract with BET, along with the television network footing the bill for their nuptials.

The series is reported to be executive produced by Carlos King for Kingdom Reign Entertainment and Jordanna Hochman for iTV American, with Oji Singletary serving as showrunner.
