‘Gotham’ Actress Jessica Lucas Is Engaged

Jessica Lucas said yes!

The gorgeous 31-year-old actress, currently most known for her role as Tabitha Galavan on the popular FOX series Gotham, revealed to the world last night (April 26) that she is engaged to be married via an Instagram post. The groom-to-be is her long-time boyfriend Alex Jermasek, who is a butcher at celebrity chef Curtis Stone’s LA restaurant/butcher shop Gwen. Lucas and Jermasek have been dating for a little over four years.

In the big Instagram reveal, the two can be seen standing together by a large body of water during their Florence, Italy vacation. Lucas is proudly and eagerly showing off her ring finger to show that her guy liked it and definitely put a ring on it! Her caption read, “Feeling like the luckiest girl in the whole world! Can’t wait to spend my life with this man. Love you @alexjermasek.”

Jermasek shared a photo on his personal IG page that mirrored her reveal, but his caption read, “Asked the woman I love if she would marry me. She said yes. Living the dream. #engaged”

The newly engaged couple have been indulging in all of the beauty Florence has to offer on their Italian vacation. The proposal was the icing on the cake. Congratulations to the happy couple!

This is perhaps the most public Lucas has ever been about her romantic life, despite dating and showing glimpses of her now-fiance repeatedly throughout the years on her social media. The half Afro-Canadian, half Caucasian actress has been active in Hollywood since the early 2000s and has gained prominence for her appearances in the show Melrose Place and Edgemont, as well as the films Cloverfield, The Covenant, and Pompeii. She is also well-known for her appearance in the 2014 Coldplay video “True Love”. The Canadian native, who is estimated to have a net worth of $4 million, is now a mainstay on the superhero origin series Gotham.

Season 3 of Gotham is currently airing on FOX on Mondays at 8.
