Sterling K. Brown Joins Cast of Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’

SterlingKBrown_BlackPanther The ever-growing cast of Marvel’s Black Panther just keeps getting more and more impressive!

Marvel announced that This Is Us and The People v. O.J. Simpson star Sterling K. Brown has joined the cast as N’Jobu, a figure from T’Challa aka Black Panther’s past. Brown confirmed the news with a tweet stating how excited he is to now have a “seat at the table.”

Brown’s critically acclaimed role as Christopher Darden in The People v. O.J. Simpson won him a 2016 Emmy Award and as well as a Golden Globe nomination.

Brown’s fans, and even his This Is Us co-star Mandy Moore, have already started congratulating him on his new Marvel role:

The film stars Chadwick Bosman as the superhero, titular character and Wakandan King, along with a superstar supporting cast including: Michael B. Jordan, Forest Whitaker, Lupita Nyong’o, Angela Bassett, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, and Florence Kasumba. Fruitvale Station and Creed’s helmer Ryan Coogler is taking the reigns of this film and bringing the world of Wakanda to life.
