New ‘All Eyez On Me’ Trailer Released on 20th Anniversary of Tupac’s Death

On the 20th anniversary of the death of one of hip-hop’s biggest talents, All Eyez On Me, the biopic that will tell the story of how Tupac became Tupac, released a full length trailer for the film.

The first look fans got at the highly anticipated big screen adaptation of Pac’s life (and first look at Demetrius Shipp Jr. in his role as the slain Cali rapper) came on what would have been his 45th birthday, so it only makes sense that the next milestone involving the rapper would signal a new release from the film company. The latest trailer expands on some of the scenes shown in the trailer, like Danai Gurira as Pac’s mom Afeni Shakur warning him against the dangers of his lifestyle, while also showing a fair share of new scenes, like Kat Graham as Jada Pinkett (before the Smith) confronting her old friend about what he’s doing with his life. There’s even a quick shot of Pac talking to his most famous rival- Biggie Smalls.

In addition to Shipp, Gurira and Graham, the film also stars Jamal Woolard as Biggie Smalls (who also played Biggie in Notorious), Harold House Moor as Dr. Dre, Grace Gibson as Faith Evans, Annie Ilonzeh as Kidada Jones, Lauren Cohan as Lelia Steinberg and Dominic L. Santana as Suge Knight.
